Hard as it may be to believe our quaint little tight knit community of Unknown Photographers is nearing its 1 YEAR BIRTHDAY on February 11th! And as many of you know to make this occasion even better was have also been featured in dAmn!

Having fabulous members is what has gotten here and we want to take this time to thank members the best way we know how, partying it up! We will start off the festivities on February 10th by having a journal photo contest since we are in fact a photography room.

Official Celebration Time: 12a.m EST (noon) until 4p.m EST!



Journal Contest:
=Unknownphotography has many members from all over the world. We would like to pay homage to this fact with a contest that demonstrates that. We want you to take a picture of what makes where you live a unique and interesting place.

Rules:
- You must be currently watching =Unknownphotography to be eligible

- Only basic photo editing is allowed
- No collages, this is a 1 photo only contest
- You guessed it, only one entry per person (If you have more than one account we are trusting you to be honest enough to not submit through another account)

Deadlines:
Submit all entries to =Unknownphotography starting now until Valentine’s Day (February 14th) Winners will be announced on February 21st.

Prizes:
First Prize: 3 month Subscription, a feature in =Unknownphotography ’s Journal as well as our affiliates Conceptual Photos and Save The Artists, and a =Unknownphotography t-shirt

Second Prize: 1 month Subscription, a feature in =Unknownphotography ’s journal, and an =Unknownphotography t-shirt

Third Prize: a feature in =Unknownphotography ’s journal and an =Unknownphotography t-shirt



“I Spy…” Contest: (Starting 12p.m EST)
To kick off the actual party on February 10th =mom-the-bomb will be hosting a contest of “I Spy…” in the chat room at 12 p.m. EST. mom_the_bomb will “Spy” a photo from a member’s gallery. She will give the member’s name and then a clue of what photo from the member’s gallery is the one she is looking at. Member’s will have 5 minutes to find the picture. Everyone who finds the right photo will move on to another round and then another until there is a Championship Round naming the “I Spy...” winner.

Prizes: tshirts, journal features, and more


Photo Critique: (time to be revealed soon)
Session with some great deviants `dxd, *jjuuhhaa,*mirrorTEA, =Nullermanden, ^hellfirediva, =feetpeet, =NuclearSeasons =zardo, *hotburrito2 `gilad ^Ghouldaddy `larafairie. These have been invited by =xldstudios and =Gisellenw!!! Of course our own "in-room" gurus and staff will be there as well helping with the critique! There is talk that there may be prizes from this session as well. Come with some great photos and be ready for a great time.


Name that Photo: (time to be revealed soon)
The awesome =shuttermonkey has agreed to host this super fun game. He has created thumbs from images in member galleries and one super secret image. The winner of the final round will receive a fabulous =Unknownphotography tshirt, a one month sub, and journal features galore.

Photo Trivia: (all the party time)
This is not just the normal photo trivia. During the party time the ~UnknownBot will be doing trivia sessions (the trivia sessions will be started and set by =xldstudios) randomly through the evening. Now it isn't just for fun; the person that wins and the two next runner-ups will recieve prizes as well (prizes will be revealed closer to the party date)! _{Note though that the trivia rules will be especially enforced and that you should have read them before playing!}

Fella:
dA’s very own Fella is currently traveling the world to some select =Unknownphotography members. Keep on checking the journal to read about his voyages and see some awesome pictures!
